We have made significant amendments and upgrades to the FTP server on our Win2K server. While we strive to perform this service during off hours, we were compelled to perform this service patch in 'prime-time' For our Flash Communication Server clients who were inconvenienced by this, we apologize. We hope the added security and stability will make the sacrifice worthwhile. We feel that we have solved the major issues we were facing, and it is our hope that no further mantenance of this type will be required.

Metasphere climbed the ranks today. It's now considered a 6 of 10 for PageRank Importance with Google. Yeah! see our Marketing Database for tips and tricks we used to raise our PageRank. A higher PageRank can result in a higher search engine placement. We were focusing on metasphere.net versus www.metasphere.net. Strangly, these two domains have different PageRank values. See google PageRank for more information. One noticeable difference right away was in the Google directory. We climbed 3 rungs in the hosting section. This section sorts by PageRank.

Metasphere is soon to be available as a standard module. We will be porting some of our favorite tricks to CPAN soon. Most of the features are Linux dependant, but we've got some Windows tricks up our sleeves too. We are very proud to be porting a module to CPAN. If you write perl and haven't used CPAN before oh boy. Grab your hat fellas. CPAN is pure open-source beauty at its finest. CPAN And if you're strickly Windows, check out ASPN's Perl Package Manager (PPM). It's a well done attempt. Win32's CPAN-esque PPM comes with their standard Perl install.
